Year 5 Netball vs Greensted

Members of the Year 5 netball squad went to Greensted school in Basildon to play a Hi-5 netball game. This was the first match that many of the girls had played. A couple of the experienced girls from the Quilters match were mixed in to help. The girls played some lovely, flowing netball down the court, moving for each other and passing well. However, this week our shooting was not as good as last week and we only managed to score one goal, despite many attempts. So unfortunately we lost 6-1.

We also played against Greensted's Year 6 team and again brought the ball down the court really well but their strength and experience were too much for us. However, the girls agreed that this was a great experience and we will train hard to beat them next time.

Practice on Wednesday lunchtimes with Mrs R.

Well done to all. As usual, the girls represented Great Berry School well with their good conduct and super effort.
