Basildon Kwik Cricket Tournament
Great Berry entered 2 teams into the competition and after an afternoon of matches finished in 1st and 3rd position. The highlight of the afternoon was a closely fought game between Great Berry A and Great Berry B which resulted in a 2 run victory for the A team.
For many of the B team it was their first taste of competitive sport at Great Berry and we are very proud of their performance.
Great Berry A remained undefeated all afternoon, including an exciting 8 run win in the final against Lee Chapel.
The A Team now go on to represent Basildon in the Essex Primary Schools Cricket Finals at Billericay Cricket Club in June.
