Our Governors play a vital role in the running of the school.
Our Governors are a mix of Local Authority, Parent, School and Community Governors and come from all walks of life.
The Governing Body meets each term. Meetings include whole Governing Body Meetings and Committee Meetings (Curriculum and Finance, Personnel and Pupil Related Committees) Every Governor is allocated a committee and a subject area to represent.
From April 2013, all Governors have been allocated a year group responsibility and will follow their year group as they move through the school from Foundation Stage to Year Six.
Governors are encouraged to make regular visits into school both to see assemblies, concerts and performances as well as to make curriculum linked visits and to experience the day to day running of the school.
