Police Netball Rally 18-5-13
Well done to the Year 6 girls in the Great Berry netball squad.
They played really well in the first round, winning 3 games against Merrylands, South Green, Grange and Lee Chapel Black. This put them through to the quarter final where they played Lee Chapel Red. Although playing with determination and effort, they were beaten in this round by a very good Lee Chapel team who were the eventual winners of the whole tournament.
The girls received a medal and a certificate each and were placed 4th overall out of 13 teams. Well played everyone and thanks to the supporters for making it a fun day out.
Quick mention! Thanks to the PTA for funding their very smart new kit. It definitely made the girls feel good and gave a great image of our school.
