We have been lucky to secure government funding via the Academy Conditions Improvement Fund (CIF) for significant improvements to the entire school building.
Over the next year, the entire school building will have a full rewire, all internal doors will be replaced and a new fire alarm system will be installed.
To enable to work to take place without disrupting the children's learning, the first part of the project will see our demountable resource room refurbished and converted into a temporary classroom.
After the October half term and starting in Year 6, each class from Y6-Y2 will move into the temporary classroom for about a week whilst work is carried out - exact dates will be communicated to the relevant parents closer to the time.
Our Year 1 classes will move into the Year 6 classrooms for a week when Year 6 are on their residential trip in May and work in other parts of the school including the EYFS classroom, offices and halls will take place during holiday periods and out of school hours at evenings and weekends.
