Essex Kwik Cricket Finals

Following our victory in the recent Basildon school’s competition our Kwik Cricket team took part in the county finals which were held at Billericay Cricket Club.
During the morning group stages the team won their first two matches and then lost to a very strong Shenfield team.
The team finished in a very creditable 2nd place in their group in what was our first year of Kwik Cricket.
2 more high scoring games followed in the afternoon with plenty of 6’s, wickets, some great catches and even a hatrick from one of the Great Berry team.
An added bonus to the day was when the boys got to meet Essex Cricket Captain James Foster and Essex and England all-rounder Graham Napier.
